Oct 20.2011-Parmand Telecom - To mark “Consumer Protection Week” the anti-smuggling police have confiscated smuggled mobile sets and those without valid warrantees at a major Tehran mobile market.

The action is conducted on a haphazard basis and for that reason around 90% of the mobile market is now in the hands of smugglers.

Experts believe such measures have not hindered the current massive mobile smuggling and their business, as ever, is flourishing.
