June 20.2009 - Parmand Telecom - With the current sms network disconnections in Iran, all operators and content providers are faced with billion-rial losses.
The sms network disconnection since June 11 has led over 31 million Mobile Company of Iran and 14 million IranCell subscribers and others to being cut off completely.

Assuming that on average 69 million sms messages are daily sent within MCI network and all of them are in Persian fonts, MCI has lost 5.4 billion rials each day and in total 21.6 billion rials in the four-day period.

Also, if each IranCell subscriber had sent only one non-Persian sms message a day in that period, the operator would have lost 3.3 billion rials each day and in total over 13.2 billion rials in the four-day period.

The same goes with Taliya and its 920,000 subscribers.Sms network disconnection continues when most people use it in their daily affairs.
