December 12.2009 - Parmand Telecom - 70 telecommunication projects came on stream in Markazi Province on Thursday with the Minister of Communications and Information Technology in attendance.

Islamic Republic of Iran News Network (IRINN) reported that the projects included the inauguration of a mobile phone switching center, establishment and development of 7 urban and rural switch centers, establishment of 11 mobile phone BTS, installment of radio equipment, and implementation of fiber optic networks in 19 towns and villages.

$96.6 million have been spent on the projects .
