January 13.2009 - Parmand Telecom - In the establishment of a fiber optic link between Iran and Kuwait, 50 per cent of the investment has been done by Iran, Communication Infrastructure Co deputy announced. "All international investments in fiber optic links are on 50-50 basis and if one party wishes to have a 100 per cent investment, the other party has to pay for the capacity at current rate," Gholamreza Keshtgar told Mobna news agency. "Falcon is one such project in which Iran has two international links," he added."A link puts the country at a strategic position and it is also remunerated for its maintenance," he said.
