January 20.2010 - Parmand Telecom -  Implementation of the new independent signaling network, known as STP, will take place in a month's time, Communication Infrastructure Company's plan and development deputy announced.

"The project will make possible stronger management over the present switching system," Gholamreza Keshtgar told Mobna news agency.

"Improvement on the existing fiber optic network was not among our liabilities but we managed to convert over one million kilometer of it from DS to NZF," he added.

"The switching system that existed between the provinces were not independent but with the STP project their management has become independent and in future we shall not have network cuts," he said. He expressed hope that the project would be operational in a month's time.
